Make a Difference in Your Community

Volunteers constitute about 90 percent of the American Red Cross workforce. Volunteers make it possible to respond to an average of 65,000 disasters every year, most of them home and apartment fires. Find out about the needs in your area by searching for current volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Management

Assist with volunteer recruitment, placement, record keeping and recognition.

Provide food, shelter, comfort and care for families affected by major disasters such as fire, hurricanes and tornadoes.
