Note: When reviewing the statistics below, please note that admissions decisions are based on a complete application that in most cases include such items as internship and volunteer experience, participation in applicable clubs, essay responses, and other criteria—not just GPA scores. In addition, students may apply to up to three majors in order of preference to BYU Marriott; the Applicants column below reflects any time a student listed the major as a first, second, or third preference. Overall, 1,794 students applied to a BYU Marriott major in 2023 and 1,434 (79.9%) were admitted to at least one major. For specific criteria and admission information for individual majors, please visit the major’s website or contact an academic advisor.
